FUNDRAISING  
  Fundraising is critical to the Foundation's ability to provide Grants to teachers, and the Foundation seeks funding from several sources.

The Public Education Foundation's fundraising efforts have only one purpose - to strengthen the Foundation's ability to promote excellence in the public schools. Contributions enable the Foundation to continue its important work -- promoting excellence in education in the Moore County Schools. Contributions are tax-deductible as allowed by law, since we are an accredited 501c(3) organization.


Moore County Graduates’ Hall of Fame

The major PEF fundraising event of the year is the exciting annual Graduates’ Hall of Fame Celebration. This extraordinary annual event was created by the 2008-9 Board of Directors to celebrate Moore County education, showcase graduates of our public schools who have gone on to prominence in their chosen professions, build awareness of the Foundation and raise money for future Grants to Moore County teachers.
